Astro Assist

Privacy Policy

Your data is yours.

Last updated June 2026.

Astro Assist is a decision-timing and self-knowledge tool, operated by Epic Advisory Group, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“we”). To work, it needs a few intimate details about you, chiefly your birth date, time and place. We treat that information as sacred. This page explains, in plain language, exactly what we collect, where it lives, who can see it, and the control you have over it.

The short version

  • ✶ Your data lives on your own device first. The app works fully without any account.
  • ✶ We do not sell your data, ever, to anyone, for any reason.
  • ✶ We do not run advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or sites.
  • ✶ You can export everything or delete everything at any time, from your account page.
  • ✶ Birth data and the things you write (goals, dreams, journals) are never shared without your action.

What we collect, and why

Birth details (date, optional time, and place). These are used to compute your chart. Birth place is converted to coordinates and a time zone so the math is accurate.

What you create: the questions you ask, the goals you set, the dreams you log, and any decisions you save. Used to give you readings and to keep your own history.

Where you are or plan to act: a city you choose, used to compute the local sky. We do not read your device GPS unless you explicitly ask for a location feature that needs it.

Where your data lives

By default, everything above is stored only on your device, in your browser or app storage. It does not leave your device, and we cannot see it.

If you create an account (optional, to sync across your phone and the web), your data is stored with our hosting provider, Supabase, protected so that only you, signed in, can read it. We use it solely to give you the service on your devices. You can delete your account and its data at any time, which erases it from our servers.

The few third parties we rely on

Place lookup. When you search for a city, the text you type is sent to Open-Meteo, a privacy-respecting geocoding service, to return coordinates. They do not require a key and do not profile you.

Accounts and sync. Supabase stores your data if you sign in, under the protections above.

The assistant feature. If you use a conversational reading, the question you ask and the relevant computed chart facts are sent to our AI provider to write the answer. They process it to respond and do not use it to train their models. We never send more than the feature needs.

Payments. If you subscribe, payment is handled by the app store you bought through, or by Stripe on the web. We never see or store your card details.

What we do not do

We do not sell or rent your data. We do not show ads. We do not use advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking, so the app does not ask to track you. We do not build shadow profiles. Astrology depends on trust, and so does this app.

Your controls

From your account page you can export all of your data as a single file, or delete all of it instantly. When accounts are live, deletion also erases the synced copy. You may also simply clear your browser or app storage to remove the local copy.

Children

Astro Assist is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will remove it.

Sensitive data and your rights

Birth details and anything touching belief are sensitive, and we handle them with extra care and never share them without your explicit action. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your data. The controls above satisfy those rights directly; for anything else, contact us.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date above and, for meaningful changes, tell you in the app. Questions, requests, or concerns reach us at steffan@epicadvisorygroup.net, Epic Advisory Group, LLC.

This policy reflects how Astro Assist works today and at launch. It is written to be honest and readable rather than to hide behind legalese.
